Meet the Team! (about us):
Vedika:
Hi, I'm Vedika!
As you all know if you’ve been here from the start (thank you for those of you who have, and new listeners, welcome!) I’m also a middle schooler, and love public speaking (even though I’m that kid who probably hasn’t raised their hand in class all year) I do debate (forensics), and I was a NPR Podcasting Challenge finalist and interviewed on live radio with Alison Stewart. I love skiing! As for instruments, I play the trumpet (jazz and wind ensemble). My favorite musical artists are Ariana Grande, KATSEYE, and Olivia Rodrigo. Thanks so much for checking out my bio, and make sure to SUBSCRIBE AND COMMENT! Check out our instagram @waitwhatnowyouknow, and Youtube, WWNYK!
Nirvitha:
Hiiii!! I'm Nirvitha
If you hear someone casually bringing up Stray Kids every five minutes...yeah, that's probably me.
I'm a certified k-pop stan (translation: my playlists are 99% K-pop and 1% everything else). Stray Kids is great, but I love discovering new music toooo!
I also have a slight addiction to trying sports. I've played softball for about two years, earned my junior black belt in Taekwondo, played basketball for a year, and somehow keep finding new activities to sign up for. Am I amazing at all of them? Debatable. Do I have fun? Absolutely.
When I'm not doing that, I'm probably:
-
Watching anime (Demon Slayer and Wind Breaker are elite. I will not be taking questions, if you think otherwise.)
-
Reading because fictional characters are interesting.
-
Singing...everywhere.
-
Listening to music 24/7.
I also used to play the viola, but it was far too stressful.
I have a little brother who exists purely to test my patience. He's lucky he's cute.
Favorite fictional characters? Don't even get me started. Zenitsu, Giyu, Nirei, Suo, Loid Forger, Gojo...the list keeps growing, and yes, I fully accept that this information is completely unnecessary.
If you've made it this far, thanks for reading! We hope you have as much fun listening to the podcast as we have making it.
LOVE NIRVITHAAA!
